Hi friends! I’m Darian, but most call me D — a wild, free spirit who lives on the beauty of ‘whim.’ That word has defined my life over the past few years, and it’s actually how I met my husband and became a BRIDE myself this year! What started as a lost bet, and led me to have a dating app for a month, turned into something I never could have imagined. I set my location to one of my favorite cities, met a boy who picked up his life and moved it to my hometown, and then, on one unforgettable day, he got down on one knee and asked me to spend forever with him.
Planning my own wedding completely transformed the way I photograph weddings now. While planning ours, I couldn’t imagine how so many details could come together—so one weekend in Mexico, I called my fiancé and said, “Let’s just get married next weekend.” Seven days later, our wedding was fully planned, and I married the love of my life. Our wedding was raw and authentic—nothing posed, nothing forced, just life unfolding naturally. Experiencing it firsthand opened my eyes to storytelling in a way I had never felt before, and it reshaped how I capture weddings today.
With over seven years behind the camera, my approach is simple: capturing the raw, uncut moments of your day, the quiet emotions behind closed doors, and the fleeting glances that might otherwise go unnoticed. I aim to create a gallery that transports you back to one of your favorite stories—like reading a journal entry you wrote yourself. It’s about authenticity over aesthetics, love over theatrics. My goal isn’t just to document your wedding; it’s to tell your story as it truly happened.
